coastlines of the heart

It is so often we can find ourselves dissappointed all because of our expectations of others or situations.
How fortunate I am to  have people who I can express my anger and frustration too.  Like the ocean beating against the rocks, my solace is knowing that those that care and truly love me are like these rocks along a coast line.  Awashed with my disappointments only to be there again when the emotions and heart have softened, that I can express my deepest love and gratitude by being their coastline too.
